Vintage Signed Red and White Wedding Ring Quilt, 1929

Available is a vintage wedding ring quilt with the sweet addition of signature and date.

MATERIALS

The quilt is made in the Wedding Ring pattern, with alternating blocks of solid red and printed calico fabrics. The blocks are set in white fabric. Lightweight cotton batting. Hand bound in red fabric. Hand quilted in white thread. White backing. 

There is a small tag sewn on to the back edge that reads "Catherine 1929."

CONDITION

Good vintage condition. The red fabric showed signs of dye bleed when tested, so this quilt was not washed. I do not recommend wetting the entire quilt. It has been hung out on a breezy day for a "sun bath" and is free of odors. Large number of storage stains on the back, with light discoloration noted on the front. Suitable for display and light use.

Quilt is dated and signed "Catherine, 1929." Found in Kansas.
