1879 Breviarium Romanum Latin Catholic Missal

Available is an antique Breviarium Romanum, or Catholic Latin missal book, published in 1879, in beautiful used condition.

Original full leather cover with gilt-tooled detail. Full color illustrated pages in frontspiece. Wear to corners and cover throughout. Spine remains mostly tight, with some loose pages in the back. Loose area in front cover. Oil marks on some of the pages. Please review photos. Also included are some loose pages found inside the book, perhaps kept as a memento. Overall good readable copy.

A liturgical book, it contains public or canonical prayers, hymns, the Psalms, readings, and notations for everyday use, especially by bishops, priests, and deacons in the Divine Office.
