Antique engraving of the coat of arms of George Blucher Heneage Marton (1839-1905) of Capernwray Hall, Lancashire. A stag's head crest followed by a shield. The French motto "Dieu et ma patrie" translates as "God and my country".

Engraving is dated 1873 under the mat and was sourced from England. Matted and framed in contemporary black and gilt wood frame, with hanging wire and backing paper.
