Available is an attractive ironstone sugar bowl with a detailed transferware pattern in brown. The design leans heavily on Aesthetic Movement motifs, with nature scenes and cherry blossom details throughout. The Asiatic hut with bamboo featured are also a nod to chinoiserie.
Ridged handles with knobbed lid. No maker stamp on bottom. Small glaze chip on bottom. Very good antique condition. Estimated age late 19th century/early 20th century.
