Available is an antique English plain chemist's pot with lid and base. This piece would originally have had a paper label with the chemist's name and contents on the top. The stoneware is heavily stained and crazed, with lovely gray mottling on the base and warm brown crazing on top. These two pieces were perhaps "married" together to make a set, although they fit together perfectly.
Heavy aging throughout. The base has a small chip. This was salvaged from a Victorian rubbish site in England, which is reflected in the condition.
