This large flow blue ironstone platter showcases rich, deep flow blue transfer work with intricate geometric and floral motifs typical of the early Victorian period. The back bears the characteristic un-initialed printed square seal mark, with the pattern name "Indian" at bottom. Maker not identified. Estimated c1850.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with bright glaze, minimal age-appropriate wear, and light crazing typical of 19th-century ironstone. Small glaze flakes located on rim of platter in two areas.
