An elegant 19th-century English stationery box crafted from rich burr walnut. Features beautiful natural wood grains accented by intricate, geometric Tunbridge-style parquetry borders and a decorative metal escutcheon on the front.
The interior is completely empty and unpartitioned, offering clean, versatile space for modern storage. It is perfectly sized to hold jewelry, documents, office supplies, or family keepsakes.

Sourced from England. Estimated age 1870.

Condition: Excellent exterior patina with complete parquetry. Bottom and top right anterior corners have some minor historic repairs to the veneer. Historic repair to the base, visible in photos. Interior is clear and open; key is not included.
