Gorgeous blue and white ceramic canister with rare intact lid, in excellent antique condition. Stamp on base reads "GMT & Bro, Germany, 3985", indicating production date between 1887-1914.
Vibrant blue floral pattern on the outside with borders, between which reads "Barley" in stenciled black script.
Small nick in glaze in opening rim. Light crazing and staining.
DIMENSIONS - 7" tall with lid x 4.5" wide; weighs 1 lb. 9 oz.
