Available is an antique ironstone plate by E. Walley, an English ironstone maker. The simple plate's shape is enhanced by a single band of copper luster around the rim.

The backstamp shows a royal crest of unicorn and lion, and the words "Ironstone, E. Walley". Dates this piece to production in Cobridge, England, between 1845-1856 by a pottery firm owned by Walley.

Thick heavy ironstone typical of mid-19th century wares. Some glaze erosion and loss noted. Overall good antique condition and perfect for display.
