Antique Majolica Round Footed Bread Platter with Mottled Center

Available is an antique majolica platter with lovely green and brown mottled center and floral border. This attractive serving tray can serve as a stunning centerpiece in your majolica collection or stacking base for other pieces.

No maker stamp or date visible; likely c1880. Center is mottled brown and dark green, with various leaves and foliage on a dark blue ground with yellow trim on border. Footed base has dark brown glaze with cream on the bottom. Old sticker in place. 

Crazing and staining visible, especially on base with old dark crazing lines. Otherwise good antique condition.

DIMENSIONS - 11" diameter x 1" high; weighs 2 lb. 2 oz.
