Available is an oval ironstone serving platter, produced by Meakin Bros. & Co. This earthenware company produced pottery in Cobridge, Staffordshire, England between 1865-1882.
This large roast platter is heavy, thick ironstone with light age spots and discolorations. Overall very good antique condition, without cracks or chips. The printed backstamp shows a royal coat of arms, with the words "Meakin Bros. & Co, Ironstone China."
