Antique Pink and Blue Nine Patch Cutter Quilt, c1920

Soft & worn lightweight quilt in light blue and pink colors in a classic pattern. Great candidate for repurposing or using for decor as a stacker quilt or every day blanket. 

MATERIALS

The quilt is in the Nine Patch pattern, with double pink setting blocks. Patchwork has a variety of white, indigo blue, gingham and mourning fabrics used. Hand quilted in white thread in hanging diamond grid across the quilt. Lightweight cotton batting. Knife edge binding in matching double pink fabric. 

CONDITION

Fair vintage condition. Multiple patches with fabric thinning and loss, with exposed batting or batting loss; some are shown in the photos. Overall color fading. Binding is worn and frayed. Shifting of batting. Light stain to back. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried. Please review photos carefully and ask for more if needed.

Exact age unknown. Likely made circa 1920 based on fabrics used. From a private collection in Kansas City, MO.
