Available is a hard-to-find matching set of pitcher and cup by Royal Doulton, featuring an Egyptian Revival motif. A sphinx head decorates the spout, with wings on the handle base and classical figures in white and beige on the sides.
Estimate date c1920. Base is stamped Royal Doulton, England. Beautiful rich chocolate brown glaze that contrasts nicely with the beige band and white figures.
Small chip at base; see photo. Otherwise very good antique condition.

Cup: 5.25" high x 3.25" diameter; weighs 8 oz.
