The Boy's Own Paper (BOP) was a highly influential British weekly magazine for boys and young men, published from 1879 to 1967. Founded by the Religious Tract Society to provide moral, instructive, and entertaining reading, it featured adventure stories, sports, and, notably, high-quality color illustrations.
The Signal Flags of the World is a colored lithograph supplement. Nautical flags are a specialized system of flags designed for use on ships and boats as a method of maritime communication.
