Available is an antique wooden dough bowl with a remarkable repair. The bowl is medium toned wood with an aged polished finish. Through the center of the bowl is a straight crack that has been repaired in the past with staples. The line is tight and smooth, and the staples remain secure. Wear throughout the bowl. Slightly oblong shape, as warping is normal over time with wood bowls.
A wonderful reminder of times past when kitchen supplies such as this bowl were hard to come by or make, and the owners took care to repair when things were broken.
Great primitive display piece in a generous size.
