Available is a unique ocean-themed ironstone jug. There is a repeating seashell molded pattern across the body. The handle design mimics a branch of coral, with seaweed floating around the perimeter of the next. The blue paint appears to have been applied at a later date. Heavy staining and crazing throughout.
The handle has two stress lines visible inside and out. Small chip on opening rim. There is a raised registration diamond on the base that is not legible.
Overall a very unique and decorative piece for the coastal farmhouse.
