A wide, flat ironstone dish in Blue Willow pattern is set inside a polished oak dish, banded by silverplate. The oak has a deep warmth, with contrasts nicely with the blue and white china. Silverplate band has moderate wear to the plating. The ironstone dish can also be used for relish or small dips. No maker's stamp. Estimated age c1920. Sourced from England.
