Available is an antique commemorative mug produced for Queen Victoria's 60th coronation anniversary. The graphics shows her crown with the dates 1837-1897; a world map showing the extent of the United Kingdom under her reign; flowers representing the different nations of Great Britain (clover, roses, and thistles); flags; and her royal initials VR, for Victoria Regina.
The back of the mug reads "Rocester, June 22, 1897" - the official date of the celebration. No maker stamp.
This mug was excavated from a Victorian dump site in England. It has crazing and staining, especially noted on the handle of the mug. An interesting piece of British history to display in your home.
