This vintage stoneware pitcher by Cox & Purves features the whimsical "Inflatable Bosoms" design, known for its quirky humor and collectible appeal. The piece shows light wear and crazing typical of its age, adding to its character and charm.
Pitcher produced c1980s for the tourist and export market in England. Graphic was reproduced from an original Victorian advertisement. Bottom is stamped "Made in England by Pearson's of Chesterfield, 2 pt."
