Available is the perfect farmhouse quilt for snuggling, with flannel backing and scrappy fabrics.
MATERIALS
The quilt is in a String Star pattern, with eight-point stars made of scrappy strips of fabric. They are set in black and white shirting fabrics, with double pink sashing and cheddar setting blocks. The top and bottom borders have a strip of floral flannel. The backing is lovely homespun flannel in green and yellow. It is hand quilted in white thread. Bound back to front. Medium weight cotton batting.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition. Fabric is intact. A few areas of storage stains. Two open areas to the backing. It has not been washed but remains free of strong odors. Please review all photos.
AGE
Exact age or maker unknown. Estimated date c1910, based on fabrics and techniques used. Found in Missouri.
