Antique ironstone footed pedestal bowl with lovely chinoiserie scene and floral detail. The compote has curved raised edges and a flared short pedestal base. The scene shows a cottage scene with gardens and trees in light blue transfer.
Base has printed mark reading "Royal Cottage W. Barker & Sons." Mark dates this piece to production between 1850-1860. Imported from England.
There is a stable old "L"-shaped hairline crack in one side; see photos.
