Lovely Blue Willow ceramic insert with silverplate-banded oak dish. The ceramic reads "Goodall's Yorkshire Relish". Nice warmth to the wooden dish. Moderate wear to silverplate bands.

Goodall's Yorkshire Relish was a famous Victorian-era bottled savory sauce created in Leeds, England, by the chemist firm Goodall, Backhouse & Co. in the mid-1860s. Advertised as "the most delicious sauce in the world," it became a massive global bestseller and a direct rival to Worcestershire sauce.
