Antique English marmalade jar with strong graphics and patina. Salvaged from a rubbish dump site in England, this stoneware pot features the c1880 label design with prize medals from world fairs in 1862 and 1873 for best marmalade.
Very clean, with strong white color and very light crazing. Imported from England. Estimated age c1880 based on design.
