Set of 3 graduated brass 'hot water jugs', dating to the early 20th century. Beautiful shine and simple yet modern-feeling design. The bases are stamped "J.S.&S. Made in England Solid Brass."
John Sankey & Sons produced metalware in the Arts & Crafts period between 1896 - 1932 in Bilston, Staffordshire, England. These pitchers were advertised as 'hot water jugs' and produced in various sizes.
Each of these pitchers has a monogram on the front "J.P.S.C." Each base is marked with the maker's name and the size. Included are the 2, 3, and 4 gallon sizes.
There are some dents and dings present. Overall good antique condition, perfect for a striking display.
Imported from England.
