Original Oil Painting of Female Portraits (Double Sided Painting)

Available is a unique piece of two paintings in one: each side showing a different female portrait. Both are painted on opposite sides of the same board and attributed to the same artist, Lai-Sin Price.

The first painting shows the side profile of a seated young woman with dark hair, against a backdrop of muted purples, grays and browns. The second painting is a portrait of a woman in strong tones of red, white and orange. Each portrait is strikingly caught, with gestural brushwork and expression.

Price was a self-taught artist and teacher who painted from the 1970s-2000s and lived in Lambertville, New Jersey. This piece is from a collection of her work and is unsigned.

DIMENSIONS - 16" x 12".
