Available is an antique Prattware lid and base with attractive polychrome. The lid shows a portrait of the Prince Consort Albert, husband to Queen Victoria of England. The lid retains its rich color and design.
The base and lid are both stained and crazed. Several small old chips throughout. Please review all photos.
F. & R. Pratt & Co. produced underglaze earthenware decorative pot and lids throughout the 19th century. Their designs featured scenes and people of cultural and historical significance. This charming pot and lid can be used for small countertop storage or in a display of royal memorabilia.
