Antique Ruthin Soda Water Co. Stoneware Bottle

Available is an antique stoneware bottle used by the Ruthin Soda Company for ginger beer. Ruthin is a small town in Wales, UK, with a long history of soda water bottling.

The emblem of the Ruthin Company shows a goat standing on its two back legs against a mountain backdrop. The strong black lettering includes the long name in Welsh under the goat.

Warm dark taupe glaze with rounded mouth. Impressed stamp of bottle maker at bottom reads "Bourne Denby." Imported from England.
