Available is a beautiful example of the Seaweed brown transferware pattern by Wedgwood. Lifelike designs in dark brown cocoa of seaweed trailing across the edge and well of the plate. Partial imprint of "Wedgwood" on back of plate. Pattern consistent with other identified examples of Seaweed by Wedgwood.
Excellent condition with light crazing and toning consistent with age. No chips or cracks noted. Estimated date of production c1880.
