Available is an antique Virol bone marrow pot, salvaged from a Victorian dump site in England. Virol was a food supplement advertised for nutritional support of children and invalids. First manufactured in 1899 by Bovril, production shifted to a larger facility in the 1920s to meet high demand. Production ceased during World War II due to cost and ingredient shortages.
This extra large size has strong graphics and beige matte finish. Small glaze bubble present on front from manufacturing flaw. Light crazing and marks throughout. Very good vintage condition.
