Vintage Blue and White Orange Peel Queen-Sized Quilt

Available is a beautiful late vintage quilt that is perfect for every day use on the bed or display.

MATERIALS

The quilt is in the Orange Peel pattern, with alternating blocks with curved seams of blue and white. The blue print fabric appears to be an indigo batik, with delicate floral motifs and patterns. It is heavily hand quilted in echo lines in white and blue thread. Hand bound with soft ombre pink and blue fabric. White backing; lightweight cotton batting.

CONDITION

Very good vintage condition. It has a few brown discolorations that remain after washing. Overall fabric integrity is intact. It has been hand washed and air dried. 

AGE

Exact age unknown. Based on fabrics used, estimated late 20th century. Found in Kansas.

SIZE - 100" x 98" (slightly too small for standard king). Shown on full size bed.
