Available is a classic blue and white quilt in a striking pattern.
MATERIALS
The quilt is in the Idaho Beauty pattern, also known as Corner Star, Devil's Claw, Cross Plains, Bright Stars, and Crow Foot. The main blocks are made of light blue solid fabric set in white. Blue border on all 4 sides. Hand quilted in white fabric. Binding reinforced with zig zag machine quilting at some point. Lightweight cotton batting. Backed in white fabric.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition. Overall fading and dye loss noted to areas of blue, especially along border. Binding repair noted as mentioned above. It has been gently hand washed and air dried. Please review all photos.
AGE
Exact age and maker unknown. Found in Kansas. Estimated c1930 based on fabrics and techniques used.
