Available is an antique large ironstone roast platter with strong brown transferware in Asiatic motifs. The design shows strong elements of the Aesthetic Movement, with flora and birds present in Asian-themed scenes. Raised edges make this likely a platter for serving roast.
Beautiful antique condition. Wear along the edge and some discoloration in the top of the platter. Backstamp reads "Kenilworth, H. Alcock & Son, Cobridge, England."
