Sweet rustic quilt in bright primary colors; perfect for repurposing or casual every day use.
MATERIALS
The quilt is in the Nine Patch pattern, with white, red, brown and blue patchwork blocks set in red printed sashing and borders. Hand quilted in white thread in diagonal lines. Medium weight cotton batting. Pink muslin backing (see note below). Bound back to front.
CONDITION
Fair vintage condition. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried. Significant fabric thinning and loss with exposed batting, especially on top border. Backing may be pink from dye run from the red fabrics. Small hole through entire quilt. Some fraying at the corner. Please review all photos.
AGE
Exact age unknown. Likely circa 1930 based on fabrics and batting used. Found in Missouri.
SIZE
Measures 70" x 68".
