Available is a scrappy vintage quilt with a wide variety of midcentury prints and fabrics. This quilt is perfect for every day use or as a cutter quilt in your next sewing project.
MATERIALS
The quilt is made in the Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern, with blocks of hexagons set in floral arrangement. Each block has a variety of printed pastel fabrics, likely from dress fabrics. Set in patterned green cotton. Bound in mint green fabric, with mint green backing. Hand quilted. Lightweight cotton batting.
CONDITION
Fair vintage condition. Binding frayed throughout. Fabric thinning throughout back. Also some blocks with fabric thinning and exposed batting on the front. It has been gently washed and air dried. Please review all photos.
AGE
Exact age unknown. Estimated date c1940 based on fabrics and techniques. Found in Kansas.
