Vintage Yellow and White Quilt with Red Embroidered Flowers

Available is a beautifully made yellow and white quilt with embroidered flowers of red, green and yellow. A bright, cheerful quilt that still bears the pencil marks of the maker and is in almost unused condition.

MATERIALS

 Quilt has twelve panels with hand embroidered flowers. The sashing is solid yellow cotton, with setting fabrics of white. Hand quilted in white thread in tiny grid patterns, with four-petal flowers in the sash between the blocks. Pencil marks still visible.

Lightweight cotton batting. Backing is solid white cotton. Hand bound with matching yellow fabric. 

CONDITION

Excellent vintage condition. Two small marks on the back. Otherwise appears to be unused. It has been gently hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Estimated date of construction circa 1930. Maker unknown. Found in Missouri.

SIZE

Measures 87" x 76". Note it was photographed on a king size bed.
