Available is beautiful quilt top in a vibrant colorway. With minimal repair, this is a great candidate for a finished top.
MATERIALS
The quilt is in a hexagon pattern, with alternating rows of light and dark fabrics. It is hand pieced with white fabric. Fabrics are a range of printed cottons from late 19th through early 20th century: cadet blue, mourning fabric, burgundy, chrome yellow and more.
Note this is an unfinished top, without backing, batting or binding.
CONDITION
Good antique condition. There are 3 blocks that will need to be repaired or replaced. It has some fraying of the fabric edges, indicating it may have been washed at some point. Please review all photos.
AGE
Exact age unknown. Estimated date c1910 based on fabrics. Found in Kansas.
SIZE - 76" x 69"
